Dr. Blanford found chiropractic after suffering with lower back pain for most of his 20-year career in the Marine Corps. After returning from a one-year deployment to Afghanistan in 2013 he was tired of “popping pills” for relief. The immediate release of tension in his spine and body following his first adjustment sold him on chiropractic. He had found his calling. While personal pain brought Dr. Blanford TO chiropractic, watching his daughter’s first adjustment KEEPS him in chiropractic. She was a 9-year-old with no complaints and no trauma to speak of. The moment she received her first upper cervical adjustment a visible wave of “electricity” flowed from her head all the way down to her toes. It was like the lights were turned on for the first time! A few days later she came and shared with her parents that she was less anxious, slept better, and felt looser since her adjustment…issues she never even shared that she was feeling/having. The idea that we all suffer from Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins and don’t even realize it keeps Dr. Blanford going…he wants to share this with his world and help you conquer yours.
He is an active member of the International Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Upper Cervical Care, the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the Maryland Chiropractic Association. After sustaining a sports injury to her lower back, Corinne sought out chiropractic care for the first time in 2013, and never looked back. Through chiropractic adjustment and continued personal yoga practice, she found a balance in her body and an increased ability to adapt to the stresses of life. Upon discovering upper cervical chiropractic, she found hope in the understanding that a little goes a long way. Her wish is for everyone to experience for themselves the benefits of upper cervical chiropractic care.
A Maryland native, Corinne looks forward to bringing coordinated chiropractic care to her community. As the practice’s office manager, she will have direct contact with our patients every day and will play a key role in education and outreach to our local community.
